RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research activities focus primarily on how individual differences in empathy, motivation and personality relate to work outcomes such as occupational burnout, work effort, employee commitment, person-job fit, job performance and turnover intentions. I also have significant expertise in latent profile analysis, a statistical procedure that allows workers to be grouped into psychological profiles/types based on their pattern of responding to specific indicator variables. Recently, I have begun examining how toxic positivity in leaders is related to employee stress, anxiety and intentions to quit.
